Relocation Of Resources And How Its Important In Hospitals (Essay Sample) Content: Allocation of ResourcesRENSON OMUMU Resource allocation refers to the distribution of resources among competing programs or individuals. It is important to allocate resources in a manner, which best serves, the organization. This means that, by not distributing resources in an effective way problems may arise within the organization (Crippen, 2013). I totally agree with the author in many ways. Firstly, allocating resources in a proper way within hospitals will make it possible to reduce the health care associated infections. Therefore, hospitals should come up with better ideas and implement strategies that can help doctors save more lives.Both the Biomed Central Dermatology and the University Of Washington School Of Medicine agree with me that major hospitals are not allocating resources in an effective way. It is important that hospitals know the criteria in which to base this allocations to improve the level of competence (Mukamel, 2002).My opinion is that we shou ld find a way of improving the services and not blame one another for these mistakes and scarcity of resources such as equipments, beds and drugs make it difficult for hospitals to provide the full measure of service and devotion. These two sources mainly focus on resource allocation and hospital competition and with the difficulty that patients have when determining the quality of medical care that they receive, hospitals face incentives to allocate resource from clinical activities to amenities (Jonsen, 1998). Because of this, hospitals face conflicting incentives. This means that they may have to enhance the quality of services or have to maintain activities that are in a position to contribute to the quality of clinical care and health outcomes.
